HIIT

High-intensity Interval Training is short periods of very intense anaerobic training with less intense recovery periods sprinkled in between. Workouts typically last around 30 minutes but are always dependent on the level of intensity and the fitness level of the participant. An example of a HIIT workout would be running on a treadmill for 2:1 intervals. Sprint for one minute walk/job for 30. Repeat that process until failure.
